After the successful first edition of the IBANEZ GUITAR FESTIVAL in 2013, IBANEZ Germany invites for the second round taking place in their franconian home base Gutenstetten/Germany on June 18th 2016.
The festival naturally focuses on the performances of German and international exceptional guitarists and bass players. A variety of genres is being covered from jazz and fusion to rock and metal, performed by solo artists and bands.
In addition to numerous live acts, there is also an exhibition of vintage IBANEZ guitars that gives an insight into the history of the Japanese traditional manufacturer. Such a collection of rare and valuable instruments is globally unique.
The promoters are very proud of the artist – along with his band – they were able to win as the festival’s headliner. Unfortunately the artist’s name is still a secret at this time but be assured that you know him when you’re interested in virtuoso guitars.
All this and much more awaits you at IBANEZ GUITAR FESTIVAL 2016 on June 18th in Gutenstetten. Further information about the program and the artists will be available shortly at www.ibanezguitarfestival.eu and www.facebook.com/ibanezguitarfestival.eu.
Buckle up, it's getting serious. Following the recent confirmation of the second IBANEZ Guitar Festival we’re able to tell you the line-up’s first names that will tremble the earth on Saturday, June 18th 2016 in Gutenstetten.
The trio Tommy Andrzejewski (guitar), Kosma Kałamarz (bass) and Peta Lucacs (guitar) from Hungary and Poland will open the festival warm you up properly.
With Martin Miller (guitar), Andrew "The Bullet" Lauer (bass) and Felix Lehrmann (drums) we offer another top-class trio in the field of rock/fusion.
One of the festival's highlights certainly will be Paul Waggoner from the US band Between The Buried And Me. Paul will give his signature model a hard time and contribute informatively to the field of shred guitar.
Another lesson of shred will be taught by the terrific Jen Majura Official who can be found in germany's Knorkator's and Evanescence's lineup. Plenty of things to watch and learn.
His extraordinary acoustic playing style demonstrates Tobias Rauscher. He'll be one-of-a-kind at the festival thanks to his percussive finger style.
From the well known band Glasperlenspiel, guitarist Nico Schliemann will appear and perform some of his solo material. He'll be accompanied by Bernhard Lackner (bass) and Felix Lehrmann (drums).
Further artists will be announced on a weekly basis until the end of March.
Tickets will be available from April 1st at all known presale counters and of course underwww.meinlshop.de.
