Jiíkovo vidní was birth perceptibily sometime in first half 1996, originally as improvising unit of locally known band Jinovatka (Jirka, Milo, Jakub). With the arrival of Pafka and return of lost son Milan (ex-Golgota) during next year became a regular outfit. Demo George's Vision was recorded in summer 1997, with formerly automatic drum parts recovered by live playing of guest Tomá vígler (DJ Hurvajz). Discovery of Chalu in spring 1998 completed line-up, later this year was taped memory demo of Jinovatka, on which is playing complete band Jiíkovo vidní. As bonus track this demo included new JV song Klidní jsou a kouí (They Are Calm and Smokin). At the end of 1998 Jiíkovo vidní was entering stage of internal contest at established festival Alternativa Prague 98. In June 1999 was recorded new demo Klidní jsou a kouí (They Are Calm And Smokin') by new line-up without guitarist Jakub.

Musical style of Jiíkovo vidní was most frequently compared so far to The Cure, King Crimson, Laibach, New Order, The Plastic People Of The Universe and Devo. Some of these roots are warranted, other arent clear up yet. But certain is specific link to czechoslovak underground and alternative scene.
